How To Help
There are many ways in which you can help.
IT Expertise - consider traveling to a project location to spend some time teaching our kids your IT skills
Medical Expertise - consider traveling to a project location to provide medical care for our kids and their family
Fundraising - consider helping Global Youth IT raise money for a specific project
Philanthropy - consider funding current or new project in a new host country
Computer Acquisition - consider helping us acquire donations in the form of laptops for our student to use (we only accept new or refurbished equipment - our experience has been that we spend more time "fixing" used equipment than teaching our kids
Become an Ambassador - each project is managed by an Ambassador to the host country. To be considered, the following qualifications must be met:
- You must be bi-lingual, speaking both the native language and english fluently
- You must be well connected in the host country (most likely you will be from the host country and will be able to leverage your contacts, etc.)
- You must be living in the USA (ease of communication is a must)
- You must be willing to travel to the host country to setup and check-in on the project
- You must be willing to manage the project
